Kirchner Museum revisited” about new ways of living with other participants. \nThis exhibition\, exceptionally centered around architecture\, has a focus on sustainability – 30 years ago and today. It offers a fantastic opportunity to challenge people in an innovative way to think about the future of their building and the way they want to live. We are planning this exhibition together with LIVO (Projekt Kleinwohnform) from Basel. Thanks to VR glasses\, participants can immerse themselves in everyday life in a tiny house. They will experience how it is possible to live in a very small space and still have everything they need. \nA full-scale LIVO tiny house will also be part of the exhibit\, and people can take it apart and interact with it. Through what people learn about LIVO and the inputs from the exhibit – especially the materials bank that represents their carbon footprint – they can use Duplos to build their own “house of the future.” By using different colors\, they can use their imagination and think about the question: what do I need in our home? What materials would I use\, etc. Behind the cocktail area\, various questions will be hung on the wall to encourage a lively exchange among visitors. Questions can be: “What do I really need to live and live” or “What are the 2 things I could change about my house now in terms of a sustainable future”? DESCRIPTION:We are planning a nettle-hunt and a wild-edible plant scavenger hunt in Kreis 5. Wild-edible plant lovers will tell us all about these edible delicacies we can find outside our doorstep. Startingpoint is at Faircustomer (Schiffbaustrasse 9a\, 8005 Zürich) between 17.00 und 18:30. From there the induvidal scavengerhunt will take place all the way to the GZ Wipkingen. Duration approx. 30-40min. End of the Scavenger hunt is at 19.00.  \nAn experience trail is marking edible nature in the city and invites you to discover the stinging nettle and other edible plants. Markers with tips\, tricks and tasks will lead from station to station. A beautiful booklets leads you through Kreis 5 and explains you everything worth knowing about the stinging nettle\, how to harvest it without gloves and how you can turn it into “sweets”. You will also learn to make syrup made from nettle leaves and admire shoes made from nettle fibres. \nThe nettle is considered particularly healthy because of its extraordinary richness in nutrients. It contains vitamins A\, B2\, B5\, B9 (folic acid)\, C\, D\, E and K as well as a wealth of minerals and trace elements\, especially calcium\, iron\, potassium\, magnesium\, phosphorus and silicon\, as well as copper\, manganese\, sulphur\, selenium and zinc. Incidentally\, calcium and magnesium are present in the nettle in a ratio that is ideal for bone metabolism. \nThe event only takes place during nice weather or light rain\, but will be cancelled with heavy rain\, thunderstorms or hail. DESCRIPTION:During 20 years spent in the service of socio-cultural\, environmental and humanitarian NGOs\, Jérémie Pichon made the sad observation of a system based on overconsumption\, devastating for humans and his environment. \nIn 2014\, they decided to embark on a Zero Waste challenge as a family. In three years\, they went from 390 KG of waste to 1kg\, i.e. one jar per year\, and discovered a new way of life. \nDuring his conference\, Jérémie Pichon tells with humour how their adventure was conducted. Above all\, he describes the enormous and unsuspected benefits they have gained from such a change.
